US Construction Spending Sees Smallest Gain Since January

The U.S. construction spending showed a slight gain of .1% over the last month, it’s smallest gain since January. Article from Reuters here.

 

Forbes points out that even though construction spending was practically flat over the last month, it still represents an increase of nearly 12% over the last year. “During the first six months of 2015, construction spending reached $482.7 billion, 8% above the $446.8 billion for the same period in 2014.”

 

Though we’re only seeing small gains this month, it’s hard to ignore the more positive numbers over the last 12 months.
